I wanted to share some updates on where life has taken me in the last year.
I've always been driven, starting as a social worker in the UK and later navigating corporate America. However, I began to feel something missing – the constant grind left me yearning for a deeper connection and purpose beyond the daily routine. Since moving to America, prioritizing my physical health has become integral – I run marathons, cycle centuries, and practice yoga regularly.
Despite the turbulence in my personal life, I found solace in my passions – running, biking, and yoga. It dawned on me: what if I could turn these passions into a career and help others experience the same vitality and wellness? On top of that my son Noah is 8, which gives me maybe 4 more years of him wanting to spend time with me, so a career that allows me the flexibility to be the present and engaged dad I know I am, and Noah deserves and can be proud of
With that spark of inspiration, I made a bold decision to leave the corporate world behind and enroll in massage therapy school. The journey was uncertain, but each class confirmed I was on the right track. After months of hard work, I emerged as a licensed massage therapist.
But I didn’t stop there. I envisioned a space where people could heal and rejuvenate. I found the perfect location, a space in Rittenhouse, offering massage therapy, personal training, and physical therapy – a dream come true.
Now, I'm reconnecting with old contacts and introducing myself in this new light. I may have traded my corporate attire for a massage table, but my drive to succeed and make a difference is stronger than ever.
I believe in the power of self-care and staying active, not just for relaxation but for recovery and injury prevention. “Life is about more than just pushing forward,” I share. “It’s about making choices you can be proud of, staying active, and continuing to learn and grow.”
I also open up about my fears and reflect on the importance of awareness and humility in today's world.
As I send off this email, I feel a mix of excitement and nerves. This is a new chapter filled with potential. I'm ready to build my client base, help others find balance and wellness, and be proud of the life I'm creating – one massage at a time.
Thanks for your time, my ask is you consider booking a massage with me or forwarding this email or my contact details onto someone you think may benefit from my services.
